World Health Organization

Hello fellow delegates,

Our committee will focus on global health crises and the challenges of collapsing health systems, growing inequities, and managing unprecedented outbreaks. Delegates will discuss strategies to strengthen international cooperation, allocate resources, and ensure equitable access to healthcare. In this General Assembly, nations must address moral responsibility, sovereignty, and the role of collective action in protecting public health. Guided by Chairs Tanish Garg, Shreya Singh, and Hrishi Kamal, delegates will craft resolutions that could shape the future of global health. The ultimate question remains: will nations unite to safeguard humanity, or will fragmentation undermine global health?

From the Chair:

Hello Delegates!

Hello everyone! My name is Tanish Garg, and I’ll be serving as your head chair for this committee. I am currently a senior at William Mason High School, and my future passion lies in medicine, particularly in becoming a cardiologist. Alongside my participation in MUN, I work as a CNA at a nursing home and am currently researching Congenital Heart Disease at Cincinnati Children’s. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my friends, whether it's playing basketball or trying new food spots. I have been in MUN for the past 2 years, and have attended 7 collegiate conferences. Although this committee may be somewhat repetitive, we encourage you to bring forth creative ideas and collaborate to develop innovative solutions to solve our current healthcare crises. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected]
